Project Manager for greenhouse gas emissions monitoring

About the job

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing greenhouse gas emissions monitoring projects worldwide. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge environmental data and drone technology in a digital lab environment as part of an innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic multinational team. This is a versatile role with plenty of responsibility and excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.

Your key responsibilities

  • Survey Planning & Execution:
    • Plan and execute emissions monitoring surveys in close collaboration with our clients.
    • Coordinate with our technical and operational teams on survey execution.
    • Instruct and provide real-time support to drone pilots in the field, occasionally assisting in the field with specialist expertise.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyse emissions data using our proprietary E-Lab software.
    • Issue emissions reports and report on survey findings and results to the client.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Serve as the point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
  • Field work (Occasional):
    • Assist pilots during data collection in the field. This may involve international travel globally (onshore and, if interested, offshore).

Depending on your skills and interests, you will also have an opportunity to contribute to the continued development and improvement of Explicit’s services and technologies.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has knowledge in the atmospheric pollution sector or a related field, perhaps holding a degree in environmental engineering, energy engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Has knowledge about oil and gas, biogas, wastewater, or the LNG sector.
  • Communicates fluently in English, our company language (in speaking and writing). Fluency in French or Norwegian is a plus. Danish is not required.
  • Is highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively with a care for quality and detail.
  • Is curious, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing global tech company.

Location: This position is based in our headquarters in modern, spacious offices at Teknikerbyen, close to DTU Campus, Virum and Brede train stations.
